In this forum I want to connect with you guys and discuss issues we have regarding our alevels and how to solve them. Also tell me topics you would like me to cover on my blog. :)
Hi Nia , organic chemistry is all interlinked eg alkenes make alcohols and alcohols make carboxylic acids . So for me I found getting a big A3 paper and doing a web diagram and on the arrows I would put the reagents required for each reaction or do flash cards, the key is repetition to insure the knowledge is committed for long term. Web diagrams showed how everything is linked quite clearly so may help with understanding better. https://www.compoundchem.com/2014/02/17/organic-chemistry-reaction-map/ this is very useful. Make questions eg how to get from alkane to alkenes? through cracking and do the question every so often to remember all the facts. Hope this helped!
Hi. I'm Nia. I'm doing alevel Chemistry. How do you go about learning organic Chemistry as it is densely packed content-wise?
